STRENGTH CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

Symmetry Strength: (multi levels- best for clients free from signigicant injuries or limitations) This new class, a Body Symmetry creation is a fun variety of pilates based strength exercises. We will focus on the core in different ways, and increase our "flexible strength". Perfect for those already taking our other strength classes, or for those who don't. Equipment needed for this zoom class is: mat, 2 matching objects 3lbs or less, foam roller helpful but not necessary.

Group Strength: (all levels) A fun way to incorporate strength training into your fitness routine, whether to help prevent osteoporosis or to just be stronger. We will work all the major muscle groups in the 45 minutes- includes warm up, and stretching at the end for a total body challenge. NEEDED EQUIPMENT FOR ZOOM CLASSES: WEIGHTS FOR SQUATS, BICEP, TRICEP, MAT. BAND/TUBING, (FOAM ROLLER HELPFUL)

TRX Fusion: (multi levels) A fusion of the TRX with other strength training techniques to fully challenge your muscles, balance, flexibility and core stability. A total body workout that is a toal blast for your body and metabolism. Class meets twice per week. Some strength experience is helpful-If unsure please contact us. We want to make sure it is your muscles that benefit and not injuring ligaments. If you are interested in the return of this class Tues/Thurs 8am or an offering at a different time please let us know. Instudio class size limited to 8 as we are following strict cdc and fitness industry guidelines.

 

PILATES REFORMER CLASSES: (Class size is limited to 6).

Pilates Reformer: (level 2) For those with a minimum 6 weeks experience of Reformer, a progressive class working towards the full level 2 repertoire. Usually 6-12 months at level 2 is needed before progressing to the next level. We'll use circles, barrels, cushions or other "toys" to spice it up.(level 2+ starts to add in level 3 exercises)

Pilates Reformer : (level 3): Ready for more challenge? Our instructor will take you through a dynamic, full-body workout that focuses on improving flexibility and core strength, building upon the foundation you've developed at levels 1 and 2. Usually 8-12 months at level 2 is needed prior to advancing to this faster paced level.

BEGINNER Pilates Reformer: (level 1) We focus on the foundational principles of pilates and introduce the most popular of pilates equipment: the reformer. The pace is slow to moderate, yet challenging and will strengthen the core while providing a total body workout. This class (or private sessions)is needed before proceeding to level 2. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a drop in class as it is a progressive type class- each week builds upon the previous. Maximal benefit is achieved when the client commits to the full series. WHEN YOU ARE READY TO RETURN TO INSTUDIO FOR THIS CLASS, PLEASE LET US KNOW. With enough interest we will add it to July/Aug schedule

PILATES CIRCUIT CLASSES: (Class size is limited to 5).

Pilates Circuit : (level 2):The best of the best! We combine the best of the mat exercises with the best of the reformer and the best of the stability chair. No chair experience is necessary, however reformer experience at level 1 is needed. If you like variety, this is it!

Pilates Circuit : (level 3):We continue to build upon the strength and stability gained from levels 1 and 2 adding challenge and variety.

 

PRIVATE TRAINING:

Private sessions are also available for both pilates and strength training, and a great compliment to group training. We can customize a program for you to help you meet your goals, or work with you to polish your form for the group classes. Prices range from $75-$85 depending upon how many sessions you purchase.
